MAINTENANCE & UPKEEP OF WOODEN TOOLS
Carlo’s wooden cooking tools last a lifetime and require hardly any maintenance. After each use, simply wash the utensils by hand with light soapy water, rinse and dry immediately.
Over the years if you notice the oils have started to wash away, give the utensil a very light sand and apply cooking oil. The wood grains will come alive to their original condition.
All of Carlo Middione’s cooking tools and utensils are finished with food-grade minerals and vegetable oils commonly found in most gourmet kitchens. In addition, the rough and tough side of the PICCA BAT is finished with a natural, non-toxic sealant to ensure long term durability.
